The Collecteco Impact

Over the years, we have supported countless charities, schools, NHS Trusts, CICs and other not for profit or non-profit organisations around the UK.

We are often told by the good causes that the kit donated is extremely important to them and their work.

Seeing the impact we have had on good causes all around the United Kingdom is extremely important to us.

If you would like to send us any feedback or photos, please email us at wishlist@collecteco.co.uk.

Meeting Room Table

“It is great to see that the furniture donated is starting to have a second life! During the school lockdown, it became apparent that to be able to house our staff safely, we needed to rethink our staff room. We repurposed our school kitchen area and I think we have made a lovely staff area, which in the future will become a great cooking area and meeting space for the professional services we have in school, meeting staff and working with our lovely children.

Thank you for the donation and the delivery service! I would never have been able to get it into our place without you guys nor would we have afforded it.”

Jackie Orr

School Business Manager, Christ Church C of E VC Infants School

“With your help, we’ve managed to kit out our whole office and, with a good scrub and a lick of paint, the place looks brand new!

Without your support, we would have had to spend a significant amount of money kitting the office out, and probably still wouldn’t have been able to afford items of the quality you provided.

Now, we’re able to use the money saved to directly fund our work providing vulnerable children with confidence building breaks and adventures. We’re so grateful for your support!”

Rachel Nichols

Centre Manager, Free to be Kids

“I just want to pass on my thanks for all your help with these items. They will have saved us thousands of pounds which will have a huge impact. From a rough estimate, this means that we’ll be able to install PCs into classrooms enabling 4,500 students to learn vital IT skills.

Beyond this, we estimate that the environmental impact from your donations will offset 70 tonnes of CO2 emissions, which is the equivalent of planting 175 trees!”

James Turing

Founder and CEO, The Turing Trust

“I just wanted to say a big thank you. Your kindness is making a big difference to staff morale, improving their environment and showing them they are valued.”

Caroline Jenkins

Headteacher, Kingsmoor Lower School

“A big thank you for the fantastic furniture that you delivered to us. We are all so grateful and really appreciate a company that is able to help our schools where money is very limited!

I personally am so happy that these will not be thrown away – we definitely need to reduce what gets thrown out and try and reuse where possible.

Excellent quality furniture, excellent service and some very happy teachers! Diolch yn fawr!”

“The Collecteco Team have gone above and beyond for the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity. We have required some furniture for our premises in South Bristol, which Steve provided great quality, good communication and an excellent delivery cost.

We are moving to a new base in the latter part of 2018 and Collecteco have once again risen to the challenge by offering Collecteco’s support during this pivotal time for the air ambulance covering Bristol and the surrounding areas.”

Joe Hughes

Community Fundraising Coordinator, Great Western Air Ambulance Charity

“Very big thank you on behalf of Stafford and Rugeley Sea Cadets for the donation of carpet tiles. We initially had hoped to re-carpet our reception area and corridor, but managed to do our whole building, making it look so much better!

Very much appreciated!”

What an exciting, challenging and exhausting 72 hours I have had after securing a fantastic office furniture donation to The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

We have saved an excess of 500 items going to landfill and most likely saved over £60,000 in purchasing items.

Thank you to Collecteco and the insurance company that have kindly donated these much needed items. They will help our NHS staff make a difference. So many smiles today after our last delivery of items.”

Alexander Ford

Sustainable Travel Plan Coordinator, The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust

“Massive thank you to Collecteco for the generous donations of shelving for our logistics hubs to ensure safe storage of items for our Covid response.”

Craig Rankin

St John Ambulance

“Thank you for the materials and furniture that you have donated. We are volunteer-led and without these donations, we would have not been able to carry out the projects necessary to offer this valuable asset to the local community.”

Mike Taylor

Manager, Faith Church

“With more demand than ever being placed on our budget, I do not know what we would have done without the generous donations we have received.

Thank you from all the staff at Avonmouth School!”

Jackie Hall

School Business Manager, Avonmouth C of E Primary School

“The staff and residents of Taylor House are overwhelmed by the generosity of Collecteco and want to thank you for the donations and hard work to make it happen.

Outside agencies that we work with have also commented on how great the office looks.

Thank you, we could not have done this without you!”

Stacey Wilkins

Elim Housing

“Collecteco is such an excellent idea.

The servers we received were in excellent condition and one was even still in warranty. We’ve now got enough to run experiments on, host a Minecraft server for teaching kids about coding, control our access systems and run CAD workshops.

Thank you very much Collecteco!”

Tim Neobard

Director, East Essex Hackspace CIC

“Everyone is excited about finally having real office furniture for all those hours we spend at our desks for our varied roles supporting local organisations with admin and governance roles.

Thank you!”

Lee Abbey Christian Community

“We used the left over carpet donations to re-floor our art cupboard which had 40 year old carpet in it! We are very grateful for the donation and as we plan further work across the school, hope you don’t mind if we get in touch again!”

Emma Thomas

Head Teacher, Adamsdown Primary School

“As a charity run preschool, we are so grateful for the donation of furniture. As we endeavour to provide the highest quality learning experiences for the children with our care, the donation from Collecteco have enabled us to enhance our environment even further.

Thank you for all of your support, Collecteco!”

Anston Stones Early Years

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of Collecteco in donating this furniture to our charity, and staff that use it feel they are now working in a nice environment.

The furniture supplied to us was of excellent quality. We were also impressed with how quickly the items were allocated and delivered to us.”

Prompt Maternity Foundation

“We wanted to write to thank you for the kind and generous donation of amazing furniture we received from Collecteco. This means a lot to us and our school community; our Steyning Family.

The donated furniture is in storage at the moment but will be used in our relocated Sixth Form. We will be able to create an office-like environment in which our sixth formers can flourish. This type of furniture is something that would not come within our budget.

As a school we constantly strive to deliver an outstanding provision to the young people in our care with very limited resources and funding. COVID-19 has added to the many challenges our students face. Before the summer holidays we were teaching our 2300 students through a full time online school and we are still supporting those in our Steyning Family who find themselves in a vulnerable position by providing food and essentials parcels.

This donation will provide a very welcome boost to the morale of our Steyning family as well as providing much needed relief to our stretched budget.”
